"Wash Away Racism" is an editorial that was inspired visually by two of Jean-Paul Goude's famous images of Grace Jones and conceptually by the Black Lives Matter Movement. It is a commentary on how some people reacted by saying things like, "White Lives Matter", "Blue Lives Matter", "All Lives Matter", etc., but how when someone says, "Black Lives Matter", it does not disregard the worth of other lives. "Wash Away Racism" shows a model in whiteface and blueface, he gets in the shower, washes off the looks, and as the editorial goes on, what he truly looks like appears. All of this symbolizes how yes, we do all matter, but how at this current time, we are trying to reinforce the fact that Black Lives Matter in order to gain equal treatment for all minorities.
